SATA disk array configuration in RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 modes: RAID 0 (stripping) - lower security but higher performance due to multiple disk writing, min. 2 discs are required. RAID 1 (mirroring) - increase security by writing the same data to two hard disks, min. 2 discs are required. RAID 5 (shared parity RAID) - increased security and data transfer, min. 3 discs are required. RAID 10 (mirroring + stripping) - a combination of stripping and mirroring, fast and secure, less economical, min. 4 discs are required. JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) - a virtual disk that connects all connected disks. Ability to configure RAID arrays from disks of different capacities. Supports simultaneous operation of disks configured in a RAID array and individual disks. Supports Hot Spare disc.
