National competency measurement test collection for English - 8th graders

We would like to help 8th graders prepare for the end-of-school foreign language assessment with an almost completely renewed publication. In our new book, we have taken into account the nature of the competence assessment tasks and texts from previous years, and have compiled new text and audio material accordingly. The competence assessment does not merely assess textbook knowledge, and accordingly, the aim of our new collection of tasks is primarily to test general language comprehension skills with the help of fresh, interesting texts and communication in real-life situations. The book contains 10 reading and listening comprehension tasks for 6th grade language learners. Each test corresponds to the content and time frames of the national competence assessment, so those preparing can learn to allocate their attention and time in advance. The audio materials were prepared with the help of British and American actors. The tasks are excellent for both joint, classroom practice and individual preparation. The solutions to the tasks are available after the tests, in the appendix, and the audio text book is available on the www.klett.hu website and in the Raabe Klett application. With these, the book can be used not only in school lessons, but also independently at home. The free Raabe Klett application contains: - the solutions to the tests - the complete audio material - the transcript of the audio material The audio files belonging to the task sets include the information, instructions and task descriptions necessary for solving the tasks. The complete audio material is available in two versions: per task set and per task. The version containing 10 audio files provides a time frame corresponding to the real competency assessment, while the version containing 27 audio files allows the tasks to be solved individually.
